EAST LANSING, Mich. – Have you resolved to take better care of your horse’s health in 2010? A free webcast series offered by the Michigan State University (MSU) Extension My Horse University and eXtension HorseQuest can help you stick to it. During the webcasts, which begin Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. EST, horse owners will learn about diagnosing, treating and preventing common horse health problems such as colic, respiratory disease and lameness, and equine emergency first aid.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- A horse owner’s walk down the supplement aisle at the feed or tack store can be overwhelming. The choices are boundless, the manufacturers’ claims are miraculous, but the research supporting these claims is unclear regarding many of today’s feed supplements. To help horse owners feed their horses cost effectively and with confidence, Michigan State University (MSU) Extension’s My Horse University and eXtension’s HorseQuest will offer a free, live webcast on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. EST.
